Randy Albright ~ Catholic Music Recording Artist

Randy Albright was adopted into a Polish-American Catholic family as an infant. He grew up being taught by the Felician Sisters at St. Mary of the Assumption school in Bronson, Michigan. As an altar boy, he served Mass under the direction of the Crosier Fathers and he dreamed of being a priest one day. He started his life in music at age 8 playing guitar and singing for disabled veterans and nursing home patients. In his teens, he formed a polka band and quickly became one of the popular entertainers in his area. After winning a local country music talent contest, he became a regular on Bobby Hankins weekly radio program which gave him the confidence that he needed to move to Nashville at the age of 20 to pursue a career in songwriting. Soon after arriving in Nashville, he landed the prestigious role of Hank Williams Sr. in the Opryland theme park show “Country Music U.S.A” and spent the next 25 years writing songs and performing in musical productions across the country. In 2001, Randy decided to leave the music row scene of country music and founded his own publishing and record company. Randy began his Catholic music career in 2004 when he was compelled to compose and record his first release in 2005, “A Musical Celebration Of The Chaplet Of The Divine Mercy”, that was quickly approved of by the Marians of the Immaculate Conception. His second album, “A Musical Celebration Of Mary”, came out in 2008 and contains the music that makes up his new one hour LIVE performance show currently touring Catholic parishes. This show also contains inspiring dialogue that connects the songs and leaves the listener with a deeper understanding and greater appreciation of Mary and the important role that she plays in the salvation of mankind.
